I was invited to write my Ten Things You Don’t Know About Me story by Adrienne Beaumont, Karen Schwartz, Julie Gaeta, and Barb Dalton 🇺🇦. I admire these women and enjoyed their stories. So here ya go.

1. I had rabies shots, yes; it was because my husband was afraid I’d bite — no, wait; I was a wildlife rescuer/rehabilitator. I loved that. I did studies on cost-effective dietary substitutes for certain animals. Puppy milk replacement was expensive and not the best for the health of many animals. Miss the critters.

2. I changed schools 15 times before graduating from high school. That’s not a good thing and quite an awful way to get schooling. Well, you don’t. But I gained a heavy dose of human compassion and spiritual strength. So, it’s good.

3. I color coordinate my clothes, my gifts, my mail, my toes;

4. I wanted to be a nun. A cloistered nun who takes a vow of silence. I was not accepted because of my health. That made me really ticked off at God. But He wasn’t ticked off at me. I got over it — being ticked off. I’d still like to be a nun.

5. I was given a police escort out of Sturgis, South Dakota, during the International Motorcycle
