I started writing on Medium when I lost my job because of the pandemic. As I write stories I remember things I’ve forgotten I’d done and skills I took for granted. I wanted to create an online place which mirrored having friends over for tea and a chat.
I'd planned on writing stories to help others fall in love with growing food, recovering health after traumatic injuries, and share my whimsical fiction. Surprisingly my stories were getting thousands of views with an 85% reads ratio!
But I was sidetracked when I created The Daily Cuppa. I discovered I still loved tutoring and mentoring others; why was no one surprised? I fell in love with seeing writers blossom into confident bloggers and now published authors!
